- Authored the Continuum of Care Grant Program Application & Evaluation Report on behalf of the Citizens Advisory Committee for the City of Durham. Prepared for the Homeless Services Advisory Committee, the Report summarized the evaluation analysis, rank and band of each project proposal. The Report was approved by the Homeless Services Advisory Committee by 10-to-6 on September 27, 2011. The Durham City Council voted 6-to-0 to accept the recommendations of the HSAC and confirm the grant applications for new projects in the 2011 Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Competition: $378,073.00 for the Goley Pointe project of Development Ventures, Inc. and $106,001.00 for the Streets to Home Initiative of Housing for New Hope, Inc. on October 17, 2011. The Forum provided law students with an opportunity to learn more about the judicial candidates seeking election in Durham and communicate directly with candidates to make an inform vote in the election.
